- Demolition and reconstruction of the outdoor dining area associated with the existing bar known as 'Helm Bar'. Proposed works include the demolition of all external structures and stairs to Level 1 and the construction of a new seating area, enclosed bar, kitchen, store areas and amenities and display of new signage. The proposal also includes the construction of a part-fixed, part-operable roof over the outdoor area with retractable blinds and a security shutter fronting Cockle Bay to the west and solid masonry walls along the northern and eastern elevations. The application does not seek any changes to the approved hours of operation or patron capacity as approved under D/2009/197 (as amended).
