I'm in support of more boarding houses in Pyrmont. Boarding houses can help prevent people from falling into homelessness by providing temporary accommodation.
Opening legal boarding houses in Pyrmont would help provide safe alternatives to the current underground economy of unsafe boarding houses running out of residential apartments, where rooms are often subdivided in an unsafe fashion by predatory landlords.
