As a direct neighbour with a balcony overlooking this building (the current roofline is inline with the balcony) I’d like to have more information on the nature and purpose of these works.

I am also a direct neighbour. If these works are to extend the working life of a flour manufacturer who cares little about their trucks flouting the road rules and the dust they create from an unsealed backing bay, then I oppose the application. Are they seriously considering creating a roundabout for trucks next to our bedroom walls?
