I do not consider that this development is consistent with the needs and requirements of local residents and should be refused.
Coles constantly shows a total lack of disregard for the residents of Leichhardt and the community by failing to implement an effective shopping trolley management policy. This leads to dozens of shopping trolleys being abandoned and dumped on Norton Street and on the surrounding streets of Leichhardt on a daily basis. Dumped shopping trolleys are an eye sore and a potential health and safety hazard.
