    We live next door to this house and were NOT informed of this planning application. Why is this so? Did you not want us to know of it? How many other neighbours were not informed? Do you want to cut down the time we have to consider this?

    We have had long and difficult experiences with proposed (67 Manning Rd) and recent build (71 Manning Rd) on our boundary properties, with a further build about to commence at 43 Tennyson St.
    Subdividing 73 Manning Rd would be ‘the straw to break the camel’s back’. We have great concern that the very old and historic Elm tree would be removed with said subdivision and subsequent building! The proposed subdivision would be inappropriate for this site.

    We live across the road at 45 Tennyson street and are very concerned with the proposal of adding a subdivision to this extremely busy corner. There is limited street parking already and it’s under extra pressure with school parents from st Marys school. We are also concerned with the potential loss of a beautiful traditional freestanding home which has so much character. We bought into this area for the traditional character of the homes and feel increasingly unimpressed with the allowance of some new builds to completely change our streetscape. As a close neighbour to this proposal, as well as the recently built 71 Manning, and the intended new build at 43 Tennyson, we have never seen a planing permit displayed or had any consultation from the owner/developer (same for all 3 properties ). Stonnington please don’t allow this subdivision and show respect for our beautiful traditional streetscape.

    As a resident at 83 Manning Road I too am concerned about the loss of period homes in our area as well as the traffic congestion the area is seeing with new builds of multiple dwellings.
    The recently built 71 Manning and planned 43 tennyson build will contribute to an already busy corner. The proposed sub division at 77 Manning road will place additional stress on this busy intersection and parking in the area.
    Please do not allow this construction. But rather let’s retain the period homes that attract so many to this beautiful area.
