In regard to Application Number DA-2019/126 I have no problem with the proposed development but bring to Bayside Council’s attention the problem of parking which has only worsened in the last couple of years.

With residents usually having more than one car, street parking is necessary as parking on common property in a strata complex is illegal. Would council consider the provision of angle parking on one side of Russell Avenue in order to accommodate shoppers, visitors and residents.

I agree with Kerrie Maloney, but even people with houses in the area are converting their garages to extra bedrooms, storage and business premises. Angle parking would probably be the only solution.
