    Dear Sir/Madam
    Following the continued use of “shed” (DA-1512/2017) as a wedding venue in contravention of approval;
    “Restrictions on Use - Ongoing Requirements (512)
    The shed is not to be used for any commercial purposes, function centre or wedding functions.”,
    I strongly oppose the approval of DA-1418/2016B. The use of the shed (referred to as The Early Up Barn, by Ms Cooney) as a wedding venue and the Hillview as a function centre creates an intolerable noise and disruption to all neighbouring properties in this otherwise peaceful environment. To have every weekend from Friday, 11am through to Sunday, 10.30pm disrupted by over 100 noisy, alcohol fueled people along with their amplified music and loud PA system is a burden that neighbours should not have to bear. The Hillview is not an isolated property and neighbours are less than 100 metres away. Given Ms Cooney’s disregard for council requirements and lack of concern for her neighbours discomfort I reiterate my strong opposition to the continued approval of The Hillview as a function centre.
    Yours faithfully
    Louise Pitman

    Would be interested to know more about this considering we paid a large sum of money to have our wedding in the early up barn. We were promised lots of things by Ms Cooney including the barn and surrounding areas being completed in time which it was not. At no point were we advised the structure was not DA approved, in fact we were told the opposite. Would we be entitled to compensation of some form since she was not a legal wedding venue?
