How many more apartments will be allowed into what used to be our village precinct?
Coonanbarra Road is already like a CBD Road.
What about the Kindergarten , the Church, The existing residents,
What about the infrastructure?
What about the quality of life of those [like my wife , Family and I] who relocated here 40 years ago for the trees, the once village like environment, the peace.
Now nothing more than a grab for more rate paying units being packed in like sardines, It may give local Government more dollars to play with but it certainly does not add to the living standards or conditions of the residents. I write to the Federal Minister of Infrastructure about over-loading every aspect of our community and our city and our state and ultimately our entire country and what does he do "writes me a meaningless response and refers me to the Local Mayor" . We give up there is no consideration for the individual in any area of our governing bodies. So what can one do, Pray, Hope for the best !, Maybe the next Federal Government will not be a Liberal Coalition.....the Opposition could not do any worse.

This part of the road is narrow and already very congested with traffic as it is the main highway access and allows access to the village car park. It will be a nightmare during construction. Lights are needed at Redleaf and the Pacific Highway. It is also a shame to ruin the character of the village precinct.
