I notice that an DA application for 97 St Georges Crescent has been submitted with a request for eight rooms and one managers residence as a boarding residence.
This building is located on a very busy corner Lyons Rd & St Georges Crescent and the additional residents would only increase this traffic. Entry and exit into and out of this property is currently extremely difficult and this would only be increased.
On the corner opposite this 97 St Georges Crescent is Scalabrini Village which is an aged care facility with 24 hour staff. Currently there is no dedicated parking for the staff and visitors to this village and getting parking in the area for residents with no off street parking is getting more and more difficult. This application would only increase this parking problem. I am happy to be contacted to discuss this further

I concur with comments noted above.
I am a resident of Napier Street and currently find parking close to impossible outside my own residence. The introduction of more units in the Drummoyne area (Victoria road) and limited parking in existence already (with no parking restrictions in Napier street) will mean Napier and other surrounding streets are used by the residents of this new development for long term parking.
Any reviews of planning related to this development would not be complete without a thorough review of impact on parking for current local residents in the immediate vicinity or an alteration in the plans that incorporate dedicated parking for this build.

At the time of my previous comments I had not received the plans for this development from the Council. I now see that there is NO parking provision for this development. In this busy area I feel the council needs to review this DA together with my earlier comments
