These palms are planted in an unsuitable location and have insufficient space to develop. The fronds encroach onto the neighbouring property, creating a safety hazard for the residents. Remove one (1) Bottlebrush adjacent to front fence and replace with three (3) local native trees from Council’s Preferred Tree list, of minimum 45L pot size, growing to a mature height greater than 5metres, anywhere on the property within one (1) month of removal. This tree is unsuitable and unsustainable in its location, the root system is causing ongoing damage to the front of the property and boundary fence.

    Remove one (1) Liquidambar from back yard and replace with one (1) local native tree from Council’s Preferred Tree list, of minimum 45L pot size, growing to a mature height greater than 5metres, anywhere on the property within one (1) month of removal. This tree is only young however it has the potential to grow to large proportions, too large for this small courtyard. The tree is unsuitable and unsustainable in its location; there is insufficient room for it to mature. It is in decline showing abnormal growth and appearance with dieback in the upper canopy. The canopy overhangs three (3) neighbouring properties, to prune it away would require a significant amount to be removed leaving the tree a poor specimen.

    Remove one (1) Avocado Tree adjacent to the left property boundary and replace with one (1) local native tree from Council’s Preferred Tree list, of minimum 45L pot size, growing to a mature height greater than 5metres, anywhere on the property within one (1) month of removal. The tree is positioned in an unsuitable location; its branches are encroaching onto the roof of the neighbouring property, there is also decay in the upper canopy’s branches.

    Remove one (1) Paperbark from backyard and replace with one (1) local native tree from Council’s Preferred Tree list, of minimum 45L pot size, growing to a mature height greater than 5metres, anywhere on the property within one (1) month of removal. This tree has lost a large branch in a storm, it presents with included bark and has the potential to split again. The tree is pushing on the boundary fence with the potential to cause damage to the fence and both properties if it were to split.
