No reason is provided in the visible application for this request and the tree is not clearly identified. Jenkins Street is characterised by its jacarandas. The tree outside this property has for many years blossomed successfully, and if it is this tree and it is judged to warrant removal for some reason, it should be replaced by a mature jacaranda in the same position in order to maintain the street's distinct characteristic. There is an active BushCare group taking care of this strip in the street every 3 months and it would be good to involve them in respect of this application.

My apologies - I belatedly discovered an associated map, and was mistaken in my previous comment as to which tree was in question. My objection is withdrawn!
    sincerely,
