1. Facade must be in keeping with ambience of area, i.e. no bright yellow frontage!!
   Make it fit in with what is already there, which is how the locals like it -

2. It's too late - garish signage across the front - Seems to be done & dusted.

3. This business has a store in Toorak Rd Sth Yarra which has been discreetly painted in keeping with the amenity of the location. So the precedent has been set. The company should rework their storefront.

5. The signage on the facade must be in keeping with the streetscape - that is, unobtrusive and in keeping with the local area.

6. The signage is brash and not in keeping with the tone of Hawksburn village, personally it feels like it devalues the whole strip. Perhaps more modest colours could be used so it is not so vivid…

7. The shop already looks totally out of place in the area. They need to completely tone down their signage. It is an absolute eyesore

8. The external bright yellow hoardings over the facade / extent & visual impact of the overall signage is quite out of keeping with the character of the local area. It is jarring in the streetscape and damages local amenity. Colours and particularly the external hoardings should be toned down significantly. Similarly to their store at 189 Toorak Rd South Yarra.

9. Please can this signage be re-worked, it’s so clearly out of place for the Village.

10. The external colour and signage is completely out of character of the local area and the general aesthetic of the village. The fact that they painted the exterior without advance permission must also be taken into account and the Company asked to rectify back in keeping with the strip.

11. I strongly agree with other comments. The garish shopfront is completely out of keeping with the rest of the village and heavily detracts from the charm of the strip. It is very sad seeing the originality of Hawksburn Village slowly being eroded by such establishments. They should at least be required to adopt signage and colouring that shows regard for surrounding proprietors and the Hawksburn community as a whole.

12. The colours and designs of the external signs are out of character of the area. Hawksburn Village has a character of its own. Keep the ambience of the area. The company should be made to tone down the signage.

13. The Chemist Warehouse shop frontage and signage is not in keeping with the village character of the Hawksburn shopping precinct. The shop frontage and all signage must be redesigned and approved by the City of Stonnington.
