Arncliffe and Wolli Creek are already suffering from over crowding, with the area and Bayside council ranked and projected to be one of the worst areas for provisioning of social infrastructure, road congestion, complete lack of street parking, etc. Open spaces are already crowded on weekends with little space to exercise or walk around. While the quality of a lot of these open spaces is below average. Recent work by the Productivity Commission shows that the train line is one of the worst in terms or overcrowding and well over capacity. Works to improve this capacity come into place by 2024 but will still be inadequate to address capacity issues. Recent develops along Princes Highway are delivering poor outcomes similar to Canterbury Road.

This development and the additional level will add to these problems. Furthermore the report doesn't make clear how many additional residents are expected to result from the additional level, this is critical in determining what sort of impact it will have on infrastructure in the area.
