Objection to Application LDA2019/0264 122 Herring Road, Macquarie
Park Morling College Application
Reference: Application LDA 2019/0264 by Morling College

I have been living on Herring Rd now for 4 years and in that short period of time, there has been significant development happening and with little improvement to infrastructure.

You just need to look at the skyline and see the number of cranes, here is a list of current and future projects I can find;
-Neue, 137-143 Herring Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113
-Prime, 101 Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113
-Park One, 80 Waterloo Road
-Sale of 159-161 Epping Road
-112 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park
- 197-223 Herring Road, Macquarie Park (Macqaurie Shopping Centre)
- Natura, 82-84 Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park
- Ivanhoe estate

The Morling College proposal will just add the overcrowding we see in the area.
The number of projects currently in progress within Macqaurie Park and the number of futures projects in unbelievable. There is also no clear direction on how Ryde Council will improve infrastructure;
-Very small amount of parkland considering how large the population will be come
-Poor condition of footpaths between Epping Rd and university Rd
-No bicycle lanes.
-Herring road not optimised , poor use of bus lanes and wasted space

I am strongly against this proposal
