In Devon Meadows VIC on “Use and Development of a...” at 73 Browns Road, Devon Meadows, VIC:

I object to the proposal to build a place of Worship at 73 Browns Road Devon Meadows. I live nearby & every day (including Sunday morning around 10 am) I walk around Devon Meadows with my Toddler & also my 7-month-old baby. I feel insecure if there going to be Sikh members driving in & out of that area where there are already plenty of other events/ activities in the same area like Tennis, Netball, Football, and Cricket going on. Also, I dread for horse riders, kids on their bike riding along Browns Road where disaster may happen in that area.

Under their General ‘House Rules’ in their Introduction letter – “Participation in worship is optional. Members may enter and leave at any time”. This increase in traffic flow will cause more accidents where all residential fear for their children walking/ riding to/ from school in the same area. Browns Road is not sufficient to handle the boost traffic volume, especially on Browns Road.

Devon Meadows is a very small suburb & quiet home town; I cannot support this increase in the traffic having Sikh Members driving in and out of 73 Browns Road at any time & their restricted hours at nights. They need to be relocated to bigger town example Cranbourne/ Clyde area.
