Dear Sir/Madam,
As a resident of 120 herring rd, I wish the Ryde council reconsider this Development Application, and I strongly object to this DA for the following reason.

1. I have huge concerns that Site B is only 12 meter away from our building, which is to close to our building. I am very worried that their construction will affect the foundation of our building. Please consider the safety of current residents, and please take Opal Tower and Mascot building crack as an example.

2. Privacy problem. The proposed 122( 14 storey residential building) is too close to existing two buildings on Herring Rd (120 Herring Rd & Saunders Close). It is unacceptable, this will violate the privacy of our residents.

3. less sunlight. I think that since it is a residential building, the distance between buildings should be calculated to ensure the lighting time of all residents' home. If there is a 14-storey building 12 meters away from the northeast of our building, it will definitely make our building without sunshine, which will negatively impact on the physical and mental health of our residents.

In sum, I am strongly OPPOSED to this DA, we need more privacy, more light, more delightful living area.
