In Macquarie Park NSW on “Approval is sought for a...” at 122 Herring Rd Macquarie Park NSW 2113:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I wish to object to the proposal. The location is surrounded with high rises and needs open spaces which Morling College is providing as is. The height of this proposed development is too high and will cause high density which is already more than Herring road can hold.

The size of this proposed development requires an extension to the Herring Road I believe. There will be an increase in traffic incidents if this development is allowed. The roads will not cope especially Herring Road, Sounders close and proposed road in the project. As a resident, I am having issues to enter the Herring Road in rush hours due to traffic density.

The location needs open spaces, green parks, green playground area for children instead of high rises. The only chance to have a short walk around the area is walking from the kerb of Herring Road only. There is no dog park as well. I would like to give you Zetland as an example. There are high rises but surrounded by libraries, children playgrounds and dog parks as well.

In my opinion, there should be a regulation to control the gaps between residential high rises to keep the city look like a cement wall which this development will cause.
