In East Gosford NSW on “Construction of Donated...” at 28 Albert Street, East Gosford NSW 2250:

I object to the councils proposal to build a tea house on the park land adjacent to the art gallery. This foreshore land is precious to the ever expanding population of Gosford and is constantly in use by the public. Council has only recently made an effort to clean up the rubbish and ferel, invasive weeds and vegetation that prevented access to the Northern end of the park and I am cynical enough to suggest that the half hearted effort is to push the park users further away into that small area so the main part of the park can be taken up by the tea house. This is public land and should be freely available to all, obviously once it is developed it is lost for ever. Cities need open green space. Why not use the land at the entrance to the gallery for the tea house or go up and capture the view.
