In East Gosford NSW on “Construction of Donated...” at 28 Albert Street, East Gosford NSW 2250:

This green space is used by so many in the area, not just for dog walking but picnics, kite flying, Tai Chi, kids learning to ride bikes etc and losing such a large chunk of the land will really affect the usability of the green space for the community. Don't get me wrong, I think the Tea House will be a lovely addition to the existing Japanese Gardens, but there are a number of other options for where they could build it that wouldn't have impacted the community and green space nearly as much as this! It also states that the floor level of the tea house must be 2.4m because of potential flooding - so this is hardly your normal "single story" building. Way too much impact on the beautiful waterfront reserve that will negatively affect the many many people who use it everyday :(
