I strongly object to this development because it is completely out of character with the surrounding area.

The council commissioned a Heritage Expect in February 2016 to make recommendations for what controls to put on the Anne Street precinct on page 5 and 6 of this document. (https://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/sites/default/files/2017-01/Neighbourhood%20Character%20Assessment%20-%20Anne%20Street%20Precinct.pdf)

This house falls within the Anne Street precinct and should be retained and respected as such. There are no other double story dwellings within the area, and I don't believe having multiple dwellings on one block of land fits within the plan either.

Any new development should retain the existing building and any changes should use existing materials, in respecting the heritage value of this house.
