I object to this development because it is out of character with the surrounding area.

The council commissioned a Heritage Expect in February 2016 to make recommendations for what controls to put on the Anne Street precinct on page 5 and 6 of this document. This house is part of the Anne Street Precinct in the Wyndham Housing strategy.

Having double story houses using in the Anne Street Precinct is out of character with the surrounding area.

The house is a fine example of post WW2 housing. Any new development should keep the existing building and any changes should use existing materials, in respecting the heritage value of this house.
