This application should not be approved. Residential areas need to be kept as residential areas. Airbnb is a business. Under zoning laws businesses are not allowed in residential areas. Airbnb if not controlled will do what overdevelopment was stopped from doing in Noosa. Airbnb is out of control in Noosa and proposed new laws are not strong enough to deal with it. I encourage residents to contact Council re the application for a material change in use.
