    J Toms commented

Not wrong address. This application is for a patio GIA. Clearly, R Cutlr does not understand the development and GIA process.

  2. In Pelican Waters QLD on “Generally In Accordance -...” at 5 Burdekin Pl Pelican Waters:

    R Cutlr commented

Wrong address I think as this is a small road and 5 Burdekin is house

  3. In Golden Beach QLD on “Extension to Existing...” at 127 Esplanade Golden Beach:

    Geoff Smith commented

Great to see this facility being expanded. Caloundra is a Tourist town and the economy relies on visitors. Expanded tourist capacity supports this.

  4. In on “Office, Food and Drink...” at 9 Courage St Sippy Downs:

    Maree Peel commented

There is an oversupply of childcare centres in Buderim already and all have vacancies. Another centre will cripple the industry.

  5. In Valdora QLD on “Change to Condition 4 -...” at 326 Valdora Rd Valdora:

    Wade Sharrock commented

This property has already been subdivided quite substantially is the past. Are your trying to turn rural acreage into an Urban sprawl to the detriment of our already decreasing wild life habitat? The traffic noise, pollutants, East/West Runway development, increased truck movement in this area is already at disturbing volumes now and to continue to reduce the green space and wild life corridor is ludicrous and a further undermining of the residence that choose to live in this area for it's green beauty.

  6. In Palmwoods QLD on “Reconfiguring of a Lot into...” at 774 Eudlo Rd Palmwoods:

    Lynne Craven commented

I believe another chunk of Hinterland being taken for new builds would be detrimental to the area. 25 homes equals possibly more than 50 cars spilling onto a road that would struggle to accommodate them, not to mention the effect on local wildlife. Keep the Hinterland exactly that.

  7. In Palmwoods QLD on “Reconfiguring of a Lot into...” at 774 Eudlo Rd Palmwoods:

    Justin Beck commented

As a local resident I dont believe it is appropriate to allow a suburban development amongst semi-rural properties and I appose it strongly.

  8. In Minyama QLD on “Extension of Curreny Period...” at 3 Island Ct Minyama:

    Shannon Bunn commented

Surely the council would not approve extension given the owner has already sat on it for 4yrs and property is now for sale. Request for extension is purely to put more money in the current owners pocket whist a townhouse construction will be of severe detriment to property value to every other home owner in the street. Multi-dwelling will also put additional strain on council provided facilities - Road/gutters are already in a questionable state with no sign of repair or even a street sweeper.

Multi-dwelling building will open the door to a ‘set precedent’ which is a slippery slope for this entire area.

  9. In Coolum Beach QLD on “Notifying Affected Entity...” at 1674 and 1676 David Low Way Coolum Beach:

    Genevieve Jones commented

This development site is located within very close proximity to a highly significant Aboriginal site, recorded on the DATSIP Cultural Heritage Unit database, as site KC 203. The developer is required under the Queensland Government's Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003, to consult with the Traditional Owners, and develop a cultural heritage (risk) assessment report and a cultural heritage management plan.

  10. In Rosemount QLD on “Extention to Relevant...” at Upper Rosemount Rd Rosemount:

    Deborah Moseley commented

When I looked at the Town Plan during the community consultation I could see that steep land would be well protected by vegetation. Sadly this has not been adhered to and I have observed that more than 2000 trees have been cleared along Upper Rosemount Road and we have lost echidna, kangaroo, wallaby, bandicoots and more than 20 species of birds as a result.
Upper Rosemount Road is the site of many burial caves and I know that the Kabbi Kabbi elders are saddened to see developments override the DATSIP plan where Cultural Heritage is registered. I am aware that there are burial caves in this area, and I would only support further development if trees are preserved, erosion is controlled and the Kabbi Kabbi Native Title Claimants are consulted.

Is there a mistake on the location map. This is in Moreland Victoria

  13. In Glass House Mountains QLD on “Change to Reconfiguration...” at 14 Sidha Ave Glass House Mountains:

    Nicola Perry commented

To Whom It May Concern: we understand that there is to be development on 14 Sidha Avenue Glasshouse Mountains and had spoken to one of the owners back late last year who advised us that he would come around and speak to the owners of the surrounding properties in relation to moving earth onto our properties, building retainer walls, fences and timeframes. We appreciated this communication.

I came home today to be told that another owner was on the property 25th Feb and spoke to somebody that resides at my property, telling him that our fences would be ripped down, our sheds would also be knocked down and went on to say that they couldn’t be there and we also had six weeks to move our sheds! This has upset myself and my neighbour as we have had no further communication or received any notifications! I am not understanding how any of the above is possible. It was also mentioned that the easement was being moved onto our properties! I would like to know how I go about finding out more information in relation to the above.
    Kind regards
    Nicola

We are opposed to more clearing of Vegetation on the land 82-84 Dales Road Chevallum. We have lived here 18 years next to this place which they have already cleared Vegetation. We came to live here for peace and quite and not to see the neighbours Property with Dog Kennels approved. I have a letter from the Minister of Environment Dated 20th September stating that the Development is not proposing to clear ANY Vegetation and was told that by The Sunshine Coast Council. This letter was written to me by Christine Shewell on behalf of The Honourable Leeanne Enoch MP Minister for Environment. If this permission is given by the Sunshine Coast Council I will be contacting her again. As this is a Wildlife Habitat as well.

  15. In Coolum Beach QLD on “Food and Drink Outlet -...” at 1820 David Low Way Coolum Beach:

    Lisa Rivers commented

My objection to the development at 1820 David Low Way is the objection to the proposed/advertised roof top bar.
    1. My apartment is located immediately adjoining 1820 David Low Way. It is approved as a caretakers apartment and (if this change goes ahead) it will be immediately adjoining a rooftop bar and the reasonable expectation would be an increase in noise from the venue and from patrons entering and exiting the venue.
    2. Parking in the precinct is already stretched. Including a rooftop bar facility will result in numerous additional vehicles intruding on the private parking in our building (as there are only limited sites available at 1820 David Low Way itself and very little nearby street parking.
    Thank you for your consideration.

  16. In Maroochydore QLD on “Change to Development...” at 7 Yinni St, Maroochydore, QLD:

    Parking concerns in street.
New development on same street 3 bedrooms and one car space. New development approvals should require more parking!

    Geoffrey James Smith commented

Great to see this facility is being further developed. There's a huge need for conference style accommodation in Caloundra which will benefit the struggling economy at this end of the Sunshine Coast.

  19. In Yandina QLD on “Reconfiguring 1 into 22...” at 39-41 Old Gympie Road Yandina:

    Elizabeth Barratt commented

I live across the road from this proposed development. I am worried that the access to it may also be opposite my home. This is the crest of the hill and our home is set downhill to the SE. My neighbours include pensioners and young children. The increase of traffic on this Rd is dangerous, not to mention the additional noise and air pollution. From the perspective of the neighbouring residents we request THAT THE EXISTING ROUNDABOUT ON BUCKLE ST BE USED AS ACCESS TO THIS (unwanted) DEVELOPMENT.

  20. In Woombye QLD on “Reconfiguring of 1 into 2...” at 86 Countryview Street Woombye:

Amigh road is barely wide enough to cope with current traffic for residents several driveways are difficult to exit with limited vision of other vehicles we already have another application for a puppy complex and do not need additional traffic using this narrow road

  22. In Mooloolah Valley QLD on “Telecommunications Facility...” at 390 Tunnel Ridge Rd Mooloolah Valley:

I agree with Jason this would be detrimental to our heath as studies have already proven in the past .

    Jason Carroll commented

I live on Tunnel Ridge Road and I do not want this mast to be posted near to our houses and would like another location looked at.
I feel there are too many health implications of these masts and it should go where there are no houses.

  24. In Peregian Beach QLD on “Short Term Accommodation -...” at 90 Lake Vista Dr Peregian Beach:

    sharon dryden commented

We live in Monak Road and I believe this will affect traffic. There are no lines on Murdering Creek Road and the road in my opinion is not wide enough to take extra traffic. We are already getting extra traffic down our dirt road which is concerning and have already had a car accident where a car hit a tree out the front of our block due to the bad road.

Genevieve Jones wrote to local councillor Stephen Robinson

Earth works have started on site in August 2018 which appear to breach the Duty of Care requirements under the Qld Govt's Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003, as no Cultural Heritage Management Plan has been entered with Kabi Kabi First Nation for the Aboriginal sites recorded on those lots, with those requirements referred to by council in the DA conditions.

Delivered to local councillor Stephen Robinson. They are yet to respond.

Mara Clarson wrote to local councillor Jenny McKay

    Hi
I am strongly opposed to this development.
It will have a huge impact on the local environment, including platypus. It will also significantly change the character of the town of Palmwoods.
This is not something local residents want to see happening to their town.

    replied to Mara Clarson

    Good morning Mara.
    Thanks for your email.
This development was approved by the Planning and Environment Courts some years ago. Council refused the application but the Courts over ruled. I am working hard to not have the extension approved and thus the application may lapse.
    Regards. Jenny

    Emmaleigh Pedersen commented

Please don’t allow this to happen. There is no infrastructure to support this, it’s a known flood area and nobody seems to care about the flora and fauna. This suburb is perfect the way it is. Please don’t change it by adding more things the locals don’t want! Don’t ruin our area for money.
