I am opposed to any changes to this property. Is the plan to demolish the house? Would be great to see more details. Although this property may not be heritage listed I believe it holds a lot of historical value to the South Toowoomba area. I believe that this was one of the first properties in the South Toowoomba. T would be a great shame to see this property sub divided and a sad reflection on council should you approve this application without further public consultation.

Indeed. If the plan is to squeeze in more units of the Cranley Street variety while leaving the main house there that would be as poor an outcome as demolishing it and turning it into another concrete and tin filled area for the creation of run off. What vegetation would remain?

This was the early Fairholme school.

It is unfortunate that South Toowoomba is being ruined by these developments. Parking remains an issue. If the units are 2 bedroom then they should be made to have a double garage or on site parking to accommodate 2 vehicles per unit. In some areas the cars are being parked on nature strips/footpaths which makes it difficult to walk on footpaths and it impedes visibility when driving in some of these streets.

This yet another development in South Toowoomba that will result in crammed and unsafe streets. Part of the appeal of the older houses in Toowoomba is that fact that they are on large blocks. Council needs to stop approving subdivisions in inner Toowoomba. This is ruining our city. Toowoomba has an opportunity to be different to other cities in that it keeps its heritage as it is. Do not sell out to developers.
