I am a resident of the St.Leonards area and am concerned about the noise emissions from the production of energy from plant, air conditioning etc. from this private hospital
    Building.
THe noise pollution in the area is increasing at a rapid rate and it should be essential that all new buildings have silencers or noise limiters on each and every large development. THe cumulative effect of noise in the area should be evaluated by world's best practice. THis evaluation should not only be done at ground level but also at heights greater than the development. THe noise from energy production is more stressful to residents at night and buildings such as this are active 24/7 . THe adjoining building is the Telstra data processing building and close by the many large buildings of Royal North Shore Hospital, many of wvhich are also active 24/7.
IF the State Government wishes to put high rise residential in the this year area then the peaceful amenity and the effect of the cumulation of noise on these residents should be strongly considered.
