Penrith Waste Recycling and Transfer Facility - The development will accept up to 180,000tpa of comingled and segregated pre-classified general soild waste (non-putrescible) and will comprise: tipping area, waste processing and stockpiling in an existing shed, segregated heavy waste stockpiling bins, yard/storage/parking areas, two weighbridges and a wheelwash, demountable offices/amenities, sprinkling site dust suppression system and internal roads. Construction may include: installation of water management measures, installation of gates and fences if required, upgrades of the shed, construction waste and product bays, construction of weighbridges/demountables/amenities, construction of an additional driveway and marking of internal roads.
