    Folks,
Looking for some more information on the proposal to place a storm water pond adjacent Kambah Village. This is not a query about the engineering or the need for the pond - just the siting.

I have not had the opportunity to pursue all the documents so I'm looking for you tp point me at the information please - queries as follows:

    . Are there alternative sites?
. This site takes up potential space that would be invaluable for a Kambah Village redevelopment - as it adjacent the Village and the Burns Club
. Noting that the large redevelopment plan for Kambah from 2011 seems to have stalled but would have needed this space for parking.
. Noting also that the more recent upgrade of Kambah Village has also stalled - so this query this assumes that at some stage in the future there will be some redevelopment.
. Can the community be assured that the space would not be better served as part of the Kambah Village and not a pond... or vice versa.
. Are there safety issues having the pond so close to shops, the Burns Club and near playing fields.
. Given the generally scruffy surrounds of Kambah Village this does not seem to add to the ambience
. So basic question - do we need the pond so close to shops etc - is there an alternative site?

    Best regards

    Bill
