Will this adversely affect the green space ratio in Farrer? Having high density residential development throughout Farrer may reduce the amount of vegetation/green space.

There is currently a similar development application for the adjacent property (3 Cameron Street). If both applications are approved, there will be six new residences where there are currently only two. There does not appear to be any provision for visitor parking in either application and any visitor who parked in the planned new driveways would block access to other residents. Thus, visitors to these new residences will be forced to park in the street. Cameron Street is quite narrow at this point and this residence is near to a tight bend in the street. Approval of this application has the potential to create unsafe traffic congestion in Cameron street, which has a number of families with young children.

Increase in traffic, potential increase risk for vehicle accidents and / or injury to persons due to the potential high volume of vehicles. Lack of visitor parking, these visitors parking in front of other properties on the street creating congestion and possible conflict . Increase of both traffic and residential noise/disturbance, impact on residents quiet enjoyment. Removal of green space, removes the ambience of the street. Potentially impact negatively on property prices as street will become a high density street. Will the development fit in with the neighborhood aesthetics. Will the development affect the drainage or place additional pressure on government infrastructure, noting 3 Cameron St have proposed three dwellings as well.
