Have you at all considered what an eyesore 9 triple storey apartments will be in that quiet street? Reducing them to double storey would bring them more in line with the other recent developments in the street. Why is there a reduction in car parking? There should be no reduction in car parking on any of these applications - parking is becoming a very big issue around the area. The builders should provide enough car park within the development to ease congestion off the street. Its only a matter of time before an accident happens on that winding street.

Three stories on this street is clearly out of character with the existing area. Two storied is in line with the existing character. There should not be a reduction in car parking as there is insufficient space to park in the street. Car parking in Brunswick is a significant problem. Reducing car parking would harm the amenity of other residents in the area as well as future residents of the development. The development is also very dense - it would be the most apartments on a block on the street - and may compromise the liveability of the future apartments. The application would be improved by a reduction in the number of apartments.

Unfortunately this is starting to become one of the most congested streets in Brunswick .This is not for the benefit of the street but for the developer.Unfortunatly we have a council that is not interested in its residents interests or concerns. This area is ear marked for triple stories I was having that discussion with a vcat judge when I was there to get the best deal for a dense development in the adjacent street. This street has no room and this council needs to informs its residents on the benefits and disadvantages and more than anything the future aspects of these developments that are happening and how they are also going to accomodate for the ones that have not been approved yet.End sight residents need to be informed on how this is going to affect them.Just around the corner there is 55 apartment block that is 300 meters away from that block to be built

Completely inappropriate level of development. This is surely an 'ambit claim'. Too high, too dense. The streets already struggle to cope. The main exits to Moreland and Melville roads will quickly reach problem levels for congestion and safety.
Amenity of the dwellings will be severely compromised through lack of space, and neighbouring properties will suffer significant impositions on their space and quality.

This street clearly does not need a three-story development.

Council needs to respect the aesthetics and long term impact of these developmetns.

Yet another eyesore within the city of Moreland and ripe pricing for cowboy developers. Take a look at what is happening at 10 Millward st Brunswick. Went through the formal objection process and a year later approval for 6 triple storey & 1 double storey. The impact is on going for the whole street. The builder is a law unto themselves and commenced construction without the building permit and undermined the stability of the surrounding ajoing properties. As it is the council has no jurisdiction and I have had to contact the authorities. You don't need this extra difficulty. Put in you 12 objections from 12 separate residences means it goes through mediation and to council planning committee and email you local councillor. Put the pressure on

This development is completely inappropriate for the street and the excessive number of proposed townhouses is clearly an ambit claim with the aim of achieving a higher number of residences than would otherwise be acceptable. This developer shows a complete lack of understanding of the existing streetscape and the impact such an inappropriate development would have on its residents and the surrounding streets. There would be no room for green space, parking or any outside amenity for future occupants of these proposed residences. This proposal should be rejected outright and any future proposal should limit the number of residences to allow for an acceptable indoor living space, off street parking and outside amenity for each dwelling.
