    This building design is not in line with the neighborhood character. There is no justification for a reduction in car parking nor a loading bay as the developer can include those facilities onsite as required. Having a 9 storey building overshadow the nearby park and surrounding homes is likewise undesirable. The visual impact of a 9 storey architectural sore thumb among the surrounding low rise commercial and residential buildings would be an eyesore.
