1. Wards Grove during week days is a very busy and congested road. Cars are parked all along the street, from staff from the local Buckets childcare as well as people attending Mooraleigh Hostel and Moorabbin Hospital (to avoid patking costs). With two schools - Bentleigh Secondary College & the Southern Autistic School at one end, & the childcare, hostel and hospital at the other, the width of the road does not accomodate the heavy traffic. The new street 2hr parking on one side during weekdays does little to alleviate this. The increased density of recent construction in the street (townhouses) is compounding the problem. At the moment there are many near misses, as lots of school children also walk to school down the street, so it is very dangerous. This congestion needs to be resolved properly as part of the planning and approval process.
