Does this application also cover the council property at 33 Fairholm Grove? This is currently the Camberwell Community Centre, which I understand is being redeveloped.

I've confirmed that they are going to pull it down. They had "an expert" evaluate the architectural merit and considered that the building had none. I disagree as, if that is the case, Melbourne has no architectural merit. Further, to incorporate the two existing, perfectly sound buildings into a new plan was, apparently, just too difficult. It must have taxed them for a good 5 minutes.
Those who benefit financially (architects, developers, council, state) have wrapped the process beautifully and our city is being pulled down around us.
