I object to this Mosque being built in my area for the following reasons.

    1. 150 car parks to cater for as it says at times up to 1000 people
    2. Long Hours of operation
    3. Cemetery to close to residents
    4. Valuable industry area taken up, which was put aside for industry that would be more suited to a small industrial complex, creating more jobs.
    5. Designated segregated areas for women and men, boys and girls.
    6. Basement area to be used as a school, we have plenty in the area.
    7. Affects to current storm water capacity of the area and pressure put on the existing infrastructure..
    8. Traffic congestion at the traffic lights on research and Bridge roads, caused by funerals, weddings and other events.
    9. Noise coming from the long operating hours, from Prayers, Prayer Calls, Cars and events.

I object to the construction of this mosque being built in my area because

    1. There are plenty of mosques in surrounding areas already.
    2. I object to the noise from calls to prayer five times a day, seven days a week plus any other events they will invariably hold.
    3. Noise and congestion from cars either driving to and from the area or parking in the vicinity.
    4. I object to the imposition of segregation from the rest of the community, not to mention the segregation within the proposed structure.
    5. There are plenty of schools in the area, I don't see any need for any further segregation.
    6. This is inappropriate use of the area as mentioned in a previous comment - it is an industrial area which would be better suited for that purpose.
    7. I don't know about storm water capacity, but if it gets affected by the building of this structure, I object to it being built.

This is unacceptable in a residential area. The call to prayer will disrupt shift worker's sleep and the traffic congestion will be too much for the area.
