As a frequent diner of Molly Coddle Café, I would love to see them open for dinner
the food & service is always amazing. I personally don't see a problem with the extra seating they require, other cafes on King Street have seats & tables on the foot path, as well as retail stores having their goods for sale on footpath, I personally think that causes far more congestion than the seating Molly Coddle are asking for

    Thanks

The cafe staff have good attitude and I would expect them to use the additional space outside well. There is space to pass and the addition seems unlikely to be any worse than other cafes up King Street or in Erskineville - indeed, it's likely to be better. I support the application.

Almost always it's better to have more outdoor seating, it lets people enjoy the air, expands seating capacity and makes the street much more interesting to people walking along.

Looking at the seating plan (https://cdn.online.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/dasearch/onexhibition/1265702-7265306.PDF), I can see that it’s not in the way of people with bikes or wheelchairs on the King St side. It also should increase interest in the street garden :)

I think this is a really good way to put this little corner of public space to use.
