As previous stated this development will cause more traffic congestion that currently exists in the Georges Hall Shopping area . There is not one Pedestrian Safety Crossing in this area which is surrounded by several schools of all types.. We have contacted the RTA regarding this and they advise it is an Council matter, who to date have only discussed putting up safety bollards around the shops but not a Pedestrian Safety Crossing which would more sense. Combine this development with the proposed one at the Georges Hall Squash Centre DA 1275/2015 we will all have to avoid the Georges Hall Shopping Area to do any shopping.
