I strongly oppose this application. As a property owner and resident of 226 James street I ask that the City of Perth acts to preserve the unique cultural landscape of the Northbridge precinct. Rowe, James, Francis and Aberdeen streets should be protected from high rise developments that would impinge on the cultural aesthetic which Northbridge is known and loved for. There are already too many vacant high rise apartment buildings in Northbridge, East Perth and Perth City. Please preserve our unique cultural hub beloved for its art, hospitality, entertainment and retail by opposing yet another residential development that would erode the character of Northbridge and kill another opportunity for hospitality and entertainment to flourish.
