    I don't approve the complete demolition of the existing character building, especially the facade and street facing walls. A more socially and culturally sympathetic solution would be to retain as much of the original character of the existing development as possible.

    A caveat needs to be placed on each dwelling stating that no noise complaints can be made about the Oxford Hotel.
    The Oxford Hotel was established in 1906 so anyone choosing to live in close proximity to the hotel should do so knowing there may be noise at times.
    I find it frustrating that people move close to a pub and then complain about the noise associated with it.
    Please make this noise caveat integral for the approval of this application to go ahead.
