This is a laudable project. With our aging population it is imperative that we create more places such as this for Australians. However. To create a village (as I understand it) on the top of the range which is subject to extremes of weather with tight traffic conditions at the best of times seems a little short-sighted. Given the amount of through traffic and now an increasing number of vehicles that will use the facility I can only imagine the chaos that possibly will occur. It will not only be residents but, visitors, service vehicles, emergency and doctors that will be using the reasonably tight road situation that currently exists. I have noticed that works are progressing on the perceived "Black Spot" at the intersection. What will that do to lessen traffic congestion? Back to the drawing board folks.

I agree Belinda, we need to vote OUT this council that insist on chopping up land to make a future ghetto. Keep East Toowoomba and the Mt Lofty a heritage area that it is before it is too late.
