You cannot add more residential buildings around retail and hospitality venues and then reduce available parking bays. This not only causes more pressure on the existing residents but also makes it difficult for the businesses to attract customers from outside the area without accessible parking. The traffic on Lygon street will be more and more congested and the area choked with more and more cars on the street.
