I am not at all in any sort of agreeance with this type of block splitting along this section of wilson esplanade redland bay. I also have found it has already happenned beside me at 29 wilson esplanade. I bought (over 10 years ago) and built my house at 31 wilson esplanade, bought the larger block as I did not wish to buy a small lot or live in a small lot zone. I do not think this is something that suits the street, where there is larger homes on nice large block with plenty of space surrounding them, and I do not think that the owners of the homes next to a small lot where the house can be built within a metre of their boundary are going to be happy either. To me it is not about how it will effect my property but how it will effect my lifestyle. I am at present writing a letter to the council regarding this happening next to me. I will be advising the neighbour of the block 23 of this application today.
