I have just completed my morning walk through banks street, only to find this BEAUTIFUL house has been demolished! I was in tears and disgusted by actions of these developers. I am so appalled and shocked that the council would allow this to happen!!! What were they thinking?!? These actions have destroyed the character of the area and ruined the appeal for others! I am NEVER walking on banks street again so thank you Astatine Projects Pty Ltd for ruining my beautiful suburb!

What is happening to our suburbs
Banks street is one of many where beautiful character houses are demolished. Guess it’s money, that seems to be what rules. The Everton park development is outrageous as well. Funny that area is a flood plane!
