This contravenes the current zoning of this land from rural to residential. The current infrastructure is not sufficient to allow for this development. Any contribution to the infastructure must extend beyond the immediate area of the development and contribute to the web of roads that need to be widened, the parks that need to be built (as the current parks are already insufficient to support the needs of the existing residents), and the schools that are already increasing their teacher:student ratios in response to the exploding population.

There are multiple, and disconnected developments in the area that are being proposed and assessed individually. They all need to be considered together as their cumulative impact needs to be evaluated on the environment, infrastructure, and community standards. This includes such things as the South Dural Proposal which aims to add 3000 additional dwellings in this same vicinity.
