1. Numerous helicopter landing sites in the Nillumbik area can only be advantageous, given the semi -rural nature of the landscape,the fire-prone nature of the area due to its`green makeup and road distances and moreover travel times to emergency services due to undersized access roads throughout the shire.Whether this landing ground application is commercial or private in nature and use,its existence can only be an asset with regard emergency services,be they fire related, medical,search and rescue,police operations or local infrastructure and facility inspections.
