Balcony baulaustrades in glass should either be hazed or alternatively built from a solid material to minimise visual impact of balconies on adjoining properties. The view of laundry hanging on balconies / mess on balconies from properties behind 36 is visible from the properties located at the rear of 36 (36A and 38A).

Garden removed at the rear of 36 (including taller bushes) which has now exposed balconies to the front entrances to 36A behind and 38A behind to the right of the 36 Brightmore Building.

The apartment building does not appear to have any laundry airing facilities in a discrete location resulting in use of balconies for hanging washing.

There should be a solid balcony wall on the ground floor balcony adjoining the walkway for 36A and 38A to maintain privacy (rather than a slatted screen).
