While I don't oppose the building, the council infrastructure on the roads will need to be maintained. The drainage is abysmal in this area with built up areas from 195 Lucaston Road, under construction, causing significant drainage issues on my block. Council needs to attend to drainage on either side of Lucaston Road between the corner of Baker's Creek Road and the bridge on Lucaston Road to ensure the area can cope with the development of so many houses in this small area. It is my understanding from a plumber who installed ag-lines on my property that council did maintain a drain on the lower side of Lucaston Road (in front of 192 Lucaston Road). This has clearly fallen into disrepair. Occasional grading of the road occurs but this does nothing to prevent the drainage issues. If council inspects after rainfall they will find gauged out areas running across Lucaston Road caused by water running across the roads. The steepness of the driveway on 195 Lucaston Road has caused this - and council allowed this development without restriction. Thus, council should attend to its responsibilities regarding drainage.
