Please don't allow the removal of this tree in Evans St Rozelle as it adds shade and beauty to the street.

This is a horrible tree and its not even on the street!! its messy way too close to the houses and it keeps dropping branches making it very dangerous!!
please remove this tree before somebody gets hurt. its also very ugly.

Hello. Given the tree is in good health and still has a long ‘life’ expectancy I don’t think it should be removed. The neighbour’s extension looks relatively new and assume the tree was there before the extension. So perhaps that should have been considered.

One thing that disappoints me about this web site is the constant posts by various people about retaining tree and expressing their uninformed view on keeping them. Have they ever bothered to look up the application on the Council DA tracking to see the justification...... I spect not. What gives someone the right to say a tree on private property should be kept because they "like trees". Often the posts are for trees km away from where they live. Yes we should have more trees in suitable locations, yes Council should have an improved policy for planting and yes there are environmental benefits but there are negative issues, like damage to foundations, blocking sewers, lose of solar access to adjoining properties and not to mention danger to life and property. I do encourage people to think more broadly before posting a view on their retention and leave Council to do a balanced assessment.
