We are residents of the Wills St apartments. This area is exclusively residential and is appropriately quiet. The one exception is Nomads Backpackers in Abeckett St where kids are over-served with alcohol and then spill out into the street. There are two nearby grocery stores that sell alcohol.
We are certain that additional liquor licences will only degrade the environment of this area increasing the existing presence of noisy and unpredictable drunks on the street.
We therefore oppose this licence at 213 Franklin St.
