I believe that Dusty Lizard Brewing should be allowed to have more tenants outside, and should be able to expand the outdoor area. This is considering the fact they have installed new greenery to assist with noise regulation, will continue to limit having large groups gathering outside, and the fact that businesses were eligible for grants to allow for the expansion of the outdoor areas in light of covid restrictions. Dusty Lizard should therefore be eligible to expand as well.

Dusty lizard has been a great place since it has opened, there is no noise outside of the premises and I have been in it at capacity and apartments are louder then the noise that is created. It's a great family friendly place to enjoy a cold beer and a good feed.

I am in support of the proposed change for Dusty Lizzard as they are a thriving small local business. They have continually been mindful of their neighbours, both commercial and residential, since opening and have recently taken steps to assist in creating a buffer for any potential noise. It is a great venue and business which should be supported.

I support the change to Dusty Lizard’s conditions as it’s a great place with a good vibe, and very family friendly. I live directly across the road and there’s never been an issue with noise or the like, further, they’ve installed new greenery to help regulate noise. It’s great to having a thriving business on Smith street and I think it would be wonderful for the brewery to expand and have more tenants.

As regular client of the Dusty Lizard I support their application to expand. It is a friendly venue where noise is always kept to a minimum.

I am not happy that this brewery is planning to remove this condition for good. They are so noisy already - when their front doors and roller door are open, the sound just echoes out to our residences. I have small kids who need their sleep - if they extend the time that they can have their doors open, and increase the number of patrons, then its only going to get worse.
And the permanent food van that is on-site now is only exacerbating the problem in my opinion.
Please keep the restrictions in place as to do otherwise would not be fair to the residents who have to live across the road every single day.

I support the changes to dusty lizard brewery. Dusty lizard is a very friendly venue with great atmosphere. I know the changes will add value to the immediate area without cause for concern. Living across the road from dusty lizard there has been no complaints or noisy nights. I fully support the changes and look forward to them.
