Another 20 year old tree to be cut down. Pearl Beach is doomed if this goes on unchecked.

The removal of another tree! Seems we have the death of these beauties every week. Why us the tree being taken down! Is the tree diseased?

As my friend said people come here because they love the way it is with the greenery and trees then they want to change it
I hope there is a reason it’s being takdd we n down

Seriously. Is the tree diseased? Is it a danger? Has Council made removal conditional on the tree being replaced elsewhere on the property? Mature trees are a diminishing asset in Pearl Beach. Alterations to buildings should not come at the price of fewer trees.

Does anyone take any notice of theses comments ???

Unless the tree is diseased it should not be removed. All mature native trees in Pearl Beach should be retained.

Perhaps we should talk to the owner to understand. This property is not extending. I think the tree is leaning at a dangerous angle and he has been advised he should remove it.
I am also not sure that people who comment understand that this site is not a Council site but a community service run by the Open Australia Foundation and while comments are forwarded to the Council it does not mean they are considered in the same way as an official submission.

As Mary Knaggs said to have your submissions considered by Council you should go to https://www.centralcoast.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-build/development-applications/make-submission. Then submit the form to ask@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au.
