Yet another application for Short Term Accommodation which does not belong in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. Noosa has more than enough holiday accommodation, and an STA in an environment such as this is completely inappropriate. Residents should not have to be subjected to increased noise, bad behaviour, lack of parking, increased garbage, and all the other repercussions of STA's. I strongly oppose this application and see absolutely no reason to approve this.

Sorry for the repetition, but same comments apply to ALL.
I would like to please register my Strong Disapproval to any Short Term Accommodation, in Noosa / Noosaville in Low Density Residential Areas.
In summary, I view STA as an income producing Business, same as a Motel or other similar Commercial accommodation, as the Home Owner stands to make a "commercial gain", against Neighbourhood "pain". I, like all other Complainants, do not want to take on the role of monitoring and reporting non compliance of STA Renters and Home Owners, along with all other negative impacts too many to list here.
I strongly Vote for No STA Approvals in Noosa,
and I will Vote that way at the next Council Election as well.

I strongly object to these two new applications for STA in Sunset Drive 24 and 51 , we already have one house that has given the neighbourhood a lot of grief and sleepless nights please be considerate to your existing full time residents of Noosa Shire .

I strongly object to STA and home hosted accomodation in the noosa/noosaville low density residential areas..we have already experienced enoungh noise bad behaviour garbage and parking issues because council has already issued some applications before residents were advised and able to comment their disaproval previously in Weyba Park Estate WE DO NOT WANT IT...Noisy drunks walking the street at 2am is not appropiate for Residental Living...Now we have more applications to contend with Nos 24 and 51 Sunset Drive..As a resident ratepayer since 1968..I strongly dissaprove these applications to be passed by This Council..Please all voters in next election be mindfull of the outcomes of This Council when you next vote

As has been said many times previously residential streets like Sunset Drive are not the place for STA or should I say SMA being "Small Motel Accommodation". No matter how you look at these applications they are Commercial Activities in "Residential" streets with little or no recourse for local owners in regard to noise, parking, and other disruptions.
Those in council that support these applications should rethink their position.

So, say NO to STA (SMA) in residential areas and restrict them to Commercial Zoned Locations.

    Dear Council
Having personal experience living next door to a rotten SSL holiday house on the Sound, please do not allow quiet back streets around Noosa to be ruined by SSL. They do not belong in low density residential streets. Weyba Park Estate is not the tourist strip. Keep the noisy inconsiderate selfish tourists out from this area.
